In this VETgirl 1.5-hour, online veterinary CE webinar Dr. Michelle Trappler, DACVS, reviewed the work up and diagnosis of hind limb lameness in dogs and cats (Well, mostly dogs). Gait analysis, physical exam, and typical presentation of common differentials for hind limb lameness were reviewed.
Cranial cruciate ligament disease was briefly reviewed, but was not the major focus of this webinar. Particular attention was paid to hip dysplasia, LS syndrome, iliopsoas strains, and more. Treatment options were briefly discussed as well, including a review of arthroscopy.
