Molly Karlin

Purdue University
Class of 2023

Molly is currently in her 3rd year at Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine where she is tracking companion animal. Molly loves her education at Purdue as it has been an amazing experience that is never lacking for excitement. Molly is originally from New York. She lived in New York City during her younger years but eventually her family moved to the Catskills which is where she calls home.

Molly graduated from State University of New York College of Agriculture and Technology at Cobleskill also affectionally referred to as SUNY Cobleskill in 2017 with her Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science. This is where she met her fiancé, Patrick, who at the time was also completing his Bachelor’s degree in Wildlife Management. Molly then packed her car and moved to Colorado with her dog Sam and attended Colorado State University. There, Molly obtained her Master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences in 2019. After completing her Master’s degree, they then made their way to Indiana where she started my veterinary education at Purdue in August of 2019. Their little family consists of our dog Sam, our cat Mitzy and the most recent addition a feisty 3 legged kitten named Eileen, all of whom have been great sports being my “patients” as I learn.

Fun fact about Molly: She is terrified of chickens!
