A video review of anesthesia machines: Part 1 | VETgirl Veterinary CE Videos

March 2016

In Part I of our VETgirl online veterinary continuing education video, we review all you need to know about your anesthesia machine! If you feel nervous about doing veterinary anesthesia, this will be a great review of non-rebreathing and rebreathing machines, along with where all those tubes hook up to! A huge thank you to veterinary technician anesthetist guru, Rachel, CVT, VTS-AVTAA. She’s a team lead at Animal Emergency & Referral Center of Minnesota and a veterinary technician specialty in anesthesia.

NOTE: In order to get a total of 30-minutes of CE, you must view BOTH “A video review of anesthesia machines: Part 1” and “A video review of anesthesia machines: Part 2.”

  1. I would love to see a webinar about stomatitis. Sorry if you have already done one. Thank you

  2. As a retired human anesthesiologist I am thinking that a brief presentation with regard to the ‘why’s’ of checking an anesthesia workstation followed by a detailed presentation of a check-out might be better as the specific details will depend upon the nature of the Anesthesia workstation.
