Have a degloving wound that you don’t know how to close? Not sure if you should add sugar, honey or wound gel?

In this 1.5-hour, VETgirl webinar, Dr. Michelle Trappler, DACVS, reviewed the stages of wound healing and explored the novel technologies available for various stages of healing. In this lecture, Dr. Trappler discussed a case-based approach to vacuum-assisted wound closure, nanofiber glass, hyaluronic acid gel, medical grade honey, and maggot therapy. A brief literature review on wound healing was also discussed.
