Can’t hit that vein to save your life (or your patient’s life)?

Venous access can be difficult to obtain in some of our smaller, critically ill patients. In this 30-minute VETgirl Real-Life Rounds, Ken Yagi, BS, RVT, VTS (ECC & SAIM) will review the role of intraosseous (IO) catheters in small animal veterinary patients – particularly in the neonatal or pediatric patient. This webinar will review when IO catheter placement is warranted, how to place these catheters, and any complications that can occur.
