Lactate Elevation in GDV Patients – What’s the evidence?

Gastric dilatation volvulus (GDV) patients often typically present shocky, due to vascular congestion and poor perfusion, resulting in hypoxia and tissue ischemia. This VetGirl veterinary podcast will evaluate lactate levels in GDV patients and help you understand what this means.
