Need to brush-up on your exotic animal medicine? In this VETgirl, 2-hour, RACE-approved, online veterinary continuing education (CE) webinar, we discussed basic clinical techniques and practical tips for exotic species (e.g., avian, reptile, small mammals)!

This 2-hour lecture reviewed the basic clinical approach to the exotic species presenting to your practice. We reviewed species differences (e.g., avian, reptile, small mammal) including common presenting complaints / diseases, overall handling and management, treatment, and appropriate drug therapy. Species covered in this lecture included examples such as birds, gerbils, hedgehogs, turtles, guinea pigs, etc.
