Geneva Rossman

Washington State University
Class of 2026

I am a Pacific Northwest native and have lived in Washington state for 22 years. I went to Gonzaga University for undergraduate and graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Biology. I also graduated with a minor in Entrepreneurial Leadership. Before attending vet school, I took two years to work as a veterinary assistant at various specialties ranging from neurology to oncology. In my free time, I like to cook, hike, watch movies and downhill ski. I have two cats that are my absolute fur babies – their names are Mitch and Mira. Mitch is an FIP warrior and Mira was brought into my life when she was only a few days old. I am currently thinking of becoming a small animal veterinarian, but I also enjoy working with exotics. In the spring, I will be joining the wildlife triage team at the Veterinary Teaching Hospital (one of the only of its kind in our area). I am excited to join the VETgirl team!

Fun fact about Geneva: Growing up next to Puget Sound, I had my boating license before my driver’s license.
